About me

I’m Marjurye Furlan, a folk-botanical artist inspired by culture, nature, and the stories that bloom quietly between the two. My work blends vibrant colour, layered textures, and gentle handmade details to create pieces that feel warm, soulful, and full of movement.

Rooted in my Brazilian heritage and shaped by my travels around the world and my life in the UK, my art carries a mix of tradition, nostalgia, rhythm, and contemporary expression. Flowers, leaves, and organic shapes often appear in my paintings — not as perfect replicas of nature, but as symbols of memory, identity, and the everyday beauty that surrounds us.

Through each brush stroke, I invite the viewer into a world of colour, and curiosity. Whether in my paintings, workshops, or creative experiences, my intention is always the same: to inspire connection, joy, and a moment of quiet magic in a busy world.
